Solution:
I went with the ovulation tracker which made me focus around themes of nurturing and motherhood in my design. The UI went through several iterations after receiving feedback from others and with the suggestions of my professor.
Overall, I was able to showcase my ability to make a seamless experience for the user. My design process included exploring different layouts for navigation and ensuring consistency across all screens, from the title page to more detailed sections like notifications, settings, and subscription management. I also paid close attention to usability, making sure that information such as ovulation cycles, account details, and support resources were easy to access and understand.
I was able to create a comprehensive set of 15 screens total that showcase my ability to design a seamless, user-friendly experience. This project not only strengthened my UI/UX design skills but also highlighted the importance of empathy in design—crafting an interface that feels intuitive, supportive, and aligned with the sensitive needs of its users.
